Barely hours after unveiling a unique round about in Zomba and the scorn that followed it, social media reports that the roundabout has “disappeared.”
It is not known who designed the less than a metre round about and how much was spent on the smallest round about in the country.
Long time Zomba resident Associate Professor Edge Kanyongolo (emeritus) jocked about the round about;
“Thrilled to have more exciting infrastructural projects in Zomba. We have just had bequeathed to us a new roundabout on the city’s Main Street.
“Truth be told: the thought and skill that went into this development cannot be matched.”
On News Years eve social media reported some men with picks were removing the round about.
