Chakwera says SPC will release report

Barely a day after President Lazarus Chakwera got the report on the arrest of ACB Director Martha  Chizuma, his press secretary says he will release to the public.

State House Press office released photos and said the President received the report on Tuesday. It was not released to the public.

The Press Secretary Anthony Kasunda in a signed press release said the report was presented  to the President on Tuesday.

Kasunda said the Chairperson of the Commission Justice of Appeal Edward Twea (Rtd) gave a copy of the full report and read put through chapters of the findings and recommendations.

“President  Chakwera has since directed the Secretary to the President and Cabinet to release the findings and recommendations to the public, and will soon give further orders and take further action upon considering the recommendations,” said Kasunda.

Chakwera either lied to Malawians or State House is lying that he got the report today as he referred to it on Sunday 1st of January, 2023.

The public is waiting for the findings of the political bombshell that saw the Head of State claim he was not aware of the development that led to Chizuma arrest by Police.
