Dedza Central MP Daniel Chiwere has passed on in Lilongwe on Monday afternoon.
According to available information Chiwere was battling with pneumonia at Kamuzu Central Hospital in Lilongwe.
He was elected to parliament in 2014 after flooring Sosten Gwengwe who was runningmate to then President Joyce Banda.
He was reelected in 2019.
Details of funeral arrangements will be announced later.
