Secretary to the President and Cabinet Colleen Zamba, on Saturday got married in a traditional ceremony to Zimbabwean lawyer Dr Tamuka Muzondo in a colourful chinkhoswe ceremony held at her village in Lilongwe.
Dr Muzondo is a Zimbabwean NGO consultant and Lawyer who has run the NGO Consultancy Africa as a Managing Consultant coveirng Zimbabwe and South Africa since 2006.
According to his public profile, he is a specialist in NGO set up, management, projects and monitoring and evaluation and all things related to civil society.
He has run the consultancy for the past 17 years and before that he was a lawyer at Muzondo Chinhema Legal practitioners between 1998 and 2010.
He also worked as Manager for Policy and Research at the Zimbabwes National Association of Non Governmental Organisations (NANGO).
Dr Muzondo in 1994 graduated from University of Zimbabwe with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) before attaining Master of Laws (LLM) in International Human Rights (2005)l at the prestigious University of Cape Town. He later obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in law in 2015 from the same university.
On Saturday, Muzondo paid 10 cows to marry Malawi’s Head of Civil Service.
