This week we start with how much can one earn?

YouTube

How much do YouTubers make when each of their videos gets 50k, 100k, 500k, 1m, and 1.5m views? What about even more than that?

The best way to earn on YouTube is to produce high-quality content that people want to watch. YouTubers make the most money when their videos have a lot of views, so focus on creating content that is engaging and interesting. Additionally, partner with quality advertisers, as this will help you make more money per view. Finally, don’t forget to promote your videos on social media and other platforms to get as many views as possible. By following these tips, you can start earning money on YouTube!

If a YouTuber’s video gets

  • 1,000 views, they can expect to make $2 to $5
  • If a YouTuber’s video gets 10,000 views, they can expect to make $20 to $50
  • If a YouTuber’s video gets 100,000 views, they can expect to make $200 to $500
  • If a YouTuber’s video gets 1,000,000 views, they can expect to make $2,000 to $5,000!

The amount of money a YouTuber makes from each video also depends on the advertising rate and the YouTuber’s revenue share. But generally speaking, a YouTuber can expect to make more money per view if their video gets more views. So if you’re a YouTuber, don’t be discouraged if your videos don’t get a lot of ideas. So keep trying, and you might just hit the jackpot!

Even more than that? According to recent estimates, the number of people who watch videos on YouTube every day is now over 1.5 billion. So if you’re looking to reach a large audience, YouTube is the place to be!

TikToK

To make money on TikTok directly you must be 18 years of age or older, have more than 10,000 followers, and have at least 100,000 views over the last 30 days. You can then apply to the TikTok Creator Fund in the app if you are based in US, Italy , Germany, France and UK.

It means those in Malawi can try and partner with a friend in the UK or US and produce content which can earn you money. The fund is around US$200 million and expect to grow in 2023- Hey there is plenty of real money on the internet.

There are many ways to make money on TikTok and how you decide to monetize your content will determine your earnings.

Brand partnerships on TikTok can make you upwards of $80,000. That’s right — if you’re a big enough creator (with a large and engaged audience and a track record of success on the platform), you can buy an expensive car with your earnings from one video.

As for the TikTok Creator Fund, you can earn between 2 and 4 cents for every 1,000 views. This means you might expect $20 to $40 after reaching a million views

InstagramNumbers are tricky, because creators and brands are notoriously private about how much money they’re making. On top of that, calculating income from Instagram is complicated—if you sing a song on a Reel, the sound goes viral and you get a record deal from that internet fame, then tens of thousands of people buy tickets to your concert, does that count as making money on Instagram? What if you post food videos, then provide a link to your recipe blog, and host ads on your blog that make you money?
It sounds bizarre, but that’s the way most successful creators’ journeys go. How much money you can make on Instagram depends on your credentials, audience size, engagement, strategy, hustle, and a dash of dumb luck.
Here’s how much some creators and celebs have reportedly cashed in:
$901: The average amount of money an Instagram influencer with 1,000 to 10,000 followers can make per post, according to Business Insider
$100 to $1,500: How much a creator can be paid for a swipe-up advertisement on their Instagram stories according to Brian Hanly, CEO of Bullish Studio (a talent agency for influencers)
$983,100: The amount Kylie Jenner reportedly makes per ad or sponsored content post
$1,604,000: The amount Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly makes per post
In 2021, Hype Auditor surveyed almost 2 thousand influencers (most based in the U.S.) about how much money they make. Here’s what they found:
The average influencer makes $2,970 per month. “Average” numbers aren’t the best to go by, since there’s so much differentiation between the highs and lows—as is referenced in the next stat!Micro-influencers (accounts with one thousand to ten thousand followers earn on average $1,420 per month, and mega-influencers (accounts with over one million followers) earn about $15,356 per month.

Facebook

Despite being the most popular platform, making money on Facebook is not as straight forward as having many likes or comments though it helps alot.

Reels and Videos with targeted advertising are the best.

Targeted Facebook ads are used to reach Facebook pages with up to 100,000 likes and bring in an average of $10 daily in advertising revenue.

But there is no specific answer for this as it depends on how well you can sell to them.

If you offer a $50 profit margin product and you are able to make one sales a day. Then your profit will be $50 a day.

Meta states that your Facebook page must have 10,000 followers to be monetized, which is when you can start putting Facebook ads on your videos. Technical requirements like eligibility are rarely an issue but gaining many followers can be challenging, especially if you’re just starting and don’t have a fan or customer base.

Next Friday we will look át strategies that can help you start making a salary whilst enjoying social média.

Lets start 2023 with knowledge.
