Natural Resources Minister Eisenhower Mkaka probe over the allegations that he recieved a “gift” from British businessman Zuneth Sattar has now expanded to include a second vehicle.
Mkaka was being probed over a Mercedes Benz E class which caused stir in July 2020 days after the Tonse administration had won power. People question his capacity to make such an expensive purchase.
But Mkaka released his clearance application letter to MRA indicating he had bought the car before he was appointed Foreign Affairs Minister.
The vehicle details matched those that National Crime Agency had released in late 2021 prompting a Malawian national to request the ACB to probe.
The Investigator has confirmed with its sources that the Anti Corruption Bureau is probing Mkaka and that it involves a second car as well.
