Roman Catholic Church to give all Sunday offerings to Cyclone relief 

The Episcopal Conference of Malawi (ECM) has announced that all Sunday  offering in all Roman Catholic church services in the country will g towards Cyclone Freddy survivors.

ECM President Archbishop George Desmond Tambala made the announcement at Lisawo School camp in Chiradzulu when when the church was distributing relief items to Cyclone Freddy survivors.

“Our counterparts at Ndola Diocese in Zambia have also made a similar pledge,” he said.

Cyclone Freddy has so far killed 360 Malawians and displaced over 500,000.
